Structural Features
Four Support Points: It adopts a structural design with four support points, usually consisting of two front wheels and two rear wheels. This structure provides good stability and can bear a large load, ensuring that the forklift remains balanced when handling heavy goods.
Counterweight Device: A counterweight block is installed at the rear of the forklift. When the forklift picks up goods, the counterweight block plays a role in balancing the weight of the goods, preventing the forklift from tilting forward and ensuring the stability and safety of the forklift during operation.


Working Principle
Power Drive: It relies on the electric system to provide power. The battery pack converts electrical energy into mechanical energy through the electronic control system and transmits it to the drive wheels, enabling the forklift to move. The electronic control system can precisely adjust the speed and direction of the motor to achieve actions such as forward movement, backward movement, and steering of the forklift.
Goods Loading and Unloading: The lifting and tilting operations of goods are realized through the hydraulic system. The oil pump presses the hydraulic oil from the oil tank into the hydraulic cylinder, and the control valve adjusts the flow direction and pressure of the hydraulic oil, thereby driving the fork to rise or fall to pick up and stack goods; at the same time, it can also control the tilting angle of the mast to facilitate the loading, unloading, and positioning of goods.


Application Scenarios
Suitable for Both Indoor and Outdoor Use: Due to its good stability and strong adaptability, it can operate in various different environments both indoors and outdoors, such as warehouses, factory workshops, logistics distribution centers, docks, and other places.
Handling of Various Goods: It can handle various types and weights of goods. From small palletized goods to large mechanical equipment, etc., they can all be loaded and unloaded and handled through appropriate forks.


Performance Advantages
Strong Load-bearing Capacity: Generally, it has a high load-bearing capacity and can meet the handling requirements of goods with different weights. The common load specifications range from 1.5 tons to 5 tons, and even some large four-point counterbalance forklifts can bear heavier goods.
High Operational Stability: The structure of the four support points and the design of the counterweight enable the forklift to have good stability during driving and operation, reducing the risk of rollover caused by factors such as the shift of the center of gravity of the goods or uneven ground, and ensuring the safety of the operators and the goods.
Good Visibility: It usually has a large operating space and good visibility. The driver can clearly observe the position of the fork and the goods, as well as the surrounding working environment, which is convenient for accurately loading and unloading goods and driving operations, improving work efficiency.


Limitations
Large Turning Radius: Compared with some small forklifts, the body size of the four-point counterbalance forklift is larger, and the turning radius is also relatively large. When operating in narrow aisles or places with limited space, its flexibility may be somewhat restricted.
Affected by Road Conditions during Outdoor Operation: Although it can operate outdoors, when driving on some uneven or soft roads, its driving performance and stability may be affected to a certain extent, and the operator needs to drive carefully.
