Structural Features
Three Support Points: It adopts a structural design with three support points, generally consisting of two front wheels and one rear wheel. This structure makes the forklift more flexible in steering and enables it to complete steering operations in a relatively small space. It is suitable for use in narrow aisles and indoor environments.
Compact Body: The overall body design is relatively compact, with relatively small dimensions, which reduces the floor area and makes it convenient to move around and operate in a limited space.


Working Principle
Power Drive: Similar to other electric forklifts, it relies on the electric system for power supply. The battery pack converts electrical energy into mechanical energy through the electronic control system and transmits it to the drive wheels to drive the forklift. The electronic control system can precisely control the speed and direction of the motor to achieve actions such as forward movement, backward movement, and steering of the forklift, meeting the requirements of different working scenarios.
Goods Loading and Unloading: The lifting and tilting operations of goods are realized through the hydraulic system. The oil pump presses the hydraulic oil from the oil tank into the hydraulic cylinder, and the control valve is used to adjust the flow direction and pressure of the hydraulic oil, thereby driving the fork to rise or fall to complete the picking up and stacking of goods. At the same time, it can also control the tilting angle of the mast to facilitate the loading, unloading, and positioning of goods.


Application Scenarios
Indoor Narrow Spaces: Due to its flexible steering and compact body characteristics, it is especially suitable for operating in indoor narrow warehouses, supermarkets, workshops, and other places. It can freely travel and turn in narrow aisles, efficiently complete the handling and stacking of goods, and improve space utilization.
Light Load Operations: It is generally suitable for handling light-load goods. The common load specifications are usually around 1 - 2 tons. For the handling of some small items or light pallets, the three-point electric forklift can give full play to its advantages and complete the tasks quickly and flexibly.


Performance Advantages
Flexibility and Maneuverability: The design of the three support points makes the turning radius of the forklift small and the operation flexible. It can achieve rapid steering and U-turns in a small space, greatly improving work efficiency and reducing the difficulty of operation for operators in narrow spaces.
Smaller Floor Area: The compact body size makes it occupy less space during parking and operation, enabling it to adapt to places with limited space and helping to optimize the layout of the workplace.
Good Visibility: It usually has good visibility. The driver can clearly observe the position of the fork and the goods, as well as the surrounding working environment, which is convenient for accurately loading and unloading goods and driving operations, reducing the risk of operation errors.


Limitations
Relatively Low Load Capacity: Compared with large forklifts such as four-point counterbalance forklifts, the load capacity of the three-point electric forklift is limited. It can generally only meet the operation requirements of light loads and cannot handle heavier goods.
Slightly Poor Stability: Due to having only three support points, when carrying a relatively large weight or performing operations such as fast driving and sharp turns, its stability is slightly worse than that of four-point forklifts. Therefore, during the operation process, operators need to pay more attention to the balance of the goods and the driving status of the forklift to ensure safe operation.
